The Shimano 105 ST-R7000 Shift/Brake Grips – Optimised grip feeling
The Shimano 105 ST-R7000 shift/brake lever set with Dual Control shifters for left (2-speed) and right (11-speed) provides faster and smoother shifting, made possible by a revised shifting mechanism and shorter lever travel. The ergonomics have also been refined, the grip feeling improved and brought into line with that of the Ultegra models. The integrated braking function (Shimano Total Integration Technology) stands for reliable performance in the SLR-EV rim braking system. The extended grip width adjustment also helps control in the cockpit. The ST-R7000 shift/brake grips come with friction-reducing Optislick shift cables, brake cables and outer sleeves.

Shimano Total Integration (STI) means the combination of braking and shifting functions in one lever, which increases safety when riding. By refining the technology, it became possible to make shifting so smooth at the front and rear that they can be triggered with just one finger. Shimano calls such levers Dual Control Levers (DCL).
