Shimano Deore rear derailleur RD-M5120 – can take 10-speed sprockets up to 46 teeth
The Shimano Deore RD-M5120 rear derailleur can be combined with 2×10-speed and 2×11-speed drivetrains as well as 1×10-speed drivetrains. It is designed for 42 tooth on the largest cassette sprocket when using a drivetrain with two chainrings, and can handle up to 46 teeth on the largest sprocket when using a 1x set-up. The rear derailleur features Shadow+ clutch technology, where a stabilizer counteracts chain sag, slap and drop. RD-M5120 is either mounted via a standard derailleur hanger or directly.

Shadow Plus rear derailleurs are just as low-profile as Shimano’s Shadow rear derailleurs. In addition, a stabilizer with on/off switch is used to reduce chain slap and thus counteract chain drop. At the same time, this results in a quieter drive. Weight is also saved compared to other chain restraint devices.
