The Dura-Ace ST-R9120 Shift/Brake Lever by Shimano – Reliable deceleration performance
The Shimano Dura-Ace ST-R9120 shift/brake lever combines a 2-speed or 11-speed shift function with a brake function for hydraulic disc brakes (STI Dual Control technology), all under the Dura-Ace label. Despite the integrated hydraulic system, the grip horn is practically as slim as on the equivalent version for rim brakes. This means that you can enjoy reliable deceleration performance at all times, optimally dosed by Servo Wave, without having to compromise on looks. The ergonomics and operability of the ST-R9120 are also impressive, not least because the grip width and pressure point can be adjusted. Materials used include carbon, resin, composite and even titanium. A high quality polymer coated shift cable is included.

Shimano Total Integration (STI) means the combination of braking and shifting functions in one lever, which increases safety when riding. By refining the technology, it became possible to make shifting so smooth at the front and rear that they can be triggered with just one finger. Shimano calls such levers Dual Control Levers (DCL).

Servo Wave
Shimano Servo Wave technology optimises the travel of your brake levers. During the braking process, the brake pads are guided quickly to the brake rotor with very short lever travel. The greater part of the lever travel is reserved for the actual braking force. In this way, you can apply your braking power in a more targeted manner and use it more effectively.
