The Shimano SL-RV200 Twist Shifter – 3-, 6-, 7-speed with Index Shift and Gear Indicator
The Shimano SL-RV200 is a Tourney-level 3, 6 or 7-speed twist shifter for mounting on the left or right side respectively. It works with indexing, i.e. it engages noticeably when the next gear is reached. A gear indicator, which makes the respective gearing visible in a small window, also facilitates operation. Since it’s a Revoshift model, a simple twisting motion is all that’s needed to shift gears, while the hand continues to keep a firm grip on the handlebars. Made mainly of plastic, the SL-RV200 has an ergonomic grip design and is suitable for riders with smaller hands. It comes with a steel cable that is easy to install.

Shimano Revoshift shifters are simply twisted between thumb and forefinger to shift gears, allowing the handlebars to maintain a firm grip.
